Where do you need the original dead certificate in a Probate?

I know you need an original, but how many do you need and where to you use it instead of a copy?

    You need lots of them. The registrar can provide them.

    Here in the UK they provide a service to notify everyone.

    Probably yes you do. You know those little technicality things regarding wills and money and lawyers wanting to get paid.
