Is it a bad idea for me to drive on the highway?

I recently got my beginners drivers license and my dad wants me to take a drive on the highway. I am kind of nervous. Do I have anything to worry about? Could anyone give some tips on how to safely drive on the highway?

    You will have to drive on the highway sometime.

    My tips are

    Don't follow too close use the 2 second rule where when the car in front of you passes something it should take you at least 2 seconds to reach that point.

    Signal before you change lanes.

    Don't stay in the passing lane unless your passing.

    Obey the speed limit.

    Just drive don't be trying to use your cell phone.

    Driving on the highway is pretty easy , just be extra careful changing lanes, always look twice.

    Whereas are you supposed to learn? Highway = Road.
