35 and need help quitting smoking?

I've been smoking since I was 21. I wish I'd never started. I'm 35 now and I'm sick of smoking. The smell is very stinky, it's not attractive, and makes everything stink. I somehow keep trying to make things for myself to do, and I have been smoking less, however, that's minimizing, so I'm not smoking as much, and I shouldn't be smoking at all. I'm sick of spending money on a poison that's going to kill me anyway. I'd like to quit now. Please give me some pointers, as this is a disgusting and powerful habit that I need to break free of...
