How do you feel about Hillary being our president?

How do you feel about her? She has a jaded past, but do you think she will be a competent leader? At this point it's guaranteed she will be the next president, considering Trump has ostracized just about everybody who isn't a white guy. (The main reason the GOP didn't want him. Hell, Romney lost last time just for cutting out the non-taxpayers.) as well as Bernie, the only real threat, now agreeing to work with her.

I think Hillary will make a pretty good president. I think the jaded past is not so much a matter of being "crooked" or "untrustworthy" --it's more a matter of recognizing that wanting to change the system is great, but first you have to work within that system in order to get to the place where you can make changes. The Sanders and Trump supporters are all fired up about how their candidate could change the world, but the reality is that just electing a person doesn't mean the system disappears overnight and magically that person can do everything he wants.

That person still has to get his agenda through a deeply divided Congress (and Supreme Court). How likely is it that Sanders would have been able to get a fiscally conservative Republican Congress to vote for free college? Or to clamp down on the wealthy who are paying for their campaigns? How likely is it that Trump could get the Democrats to back things like building a wall or vetting Muslims? I think this country is extremely polarized and needs a person with (relatively) moderate views, who's experienced in negotiation, and pragmatic enough (or crooked enough) to make a deal and accept less than a whole loaf in the interest of at least making some progress. I also think that, at this violent time in history, you need someone with a lot of foreign policy experience who is known and understood by other world leaders. Like it or not, we have to deal with the rest of the world, and they don't always see things our way. A leader who is inexperienced, ignorant or disrespectful of other cultures, or just plain belligerent, would be a large problem. Whether you like her personally or not, I think the candidate who is the best chance of being a decent leader is Hillary Clinton.

She is extremely qualified to be our next POTUS for the next eight years and she will do a great job. All the right wing smears against her are just rubbish. They started inventing things about her in the 90s because they already feared her and knew she would be our POTUS one day. Their lies will not stop her, all the wars against her from the right will just make her stronger.

I cannot wait until election night when not only will she be elected in a massive landslide victory, but the senate will surely be retaken by her party. It even looks like the house is going the same way. Guess what that means conservatives? She will be able to confirm whatever young, healthy, ultra liberal judge she wants to replace scalia without any opposition. She will be able to select another 2-3 throughout her two terms and also pack the lower federal courts with tons of young, healthy, ultra liberal judges.

She will control the culture long after she is dead this way. Judges will rule liberally on everything each time taking the culture in the correct, and left direction. Conservatism will never have support again. It will completely die out like that and because of complete clowns like chump, palin, and the religious right helping to bury it!

I had my heart set on Bernie, but since that ship sailed, I think Hillary is a decent choice. Not my favorite option, but she's qualified, so I'm voting for her.
