Is compassion inate or learned? Are some people simply incapable of compassion?

    Without the learning which enables the interpretation of any given situation the need for compassion won't be recognised.

    Some people are totally incapable of compassion. These generally come into the "sociopathic" category.

    Inate, they've done studies with young kids and toddlers, if someone drops something the kids immediately move to help pick it up. If someone is crying they reach out and hug the person.

    It depends. Is it "inate" or inundate. These words have different meaning.

    All true philosophers know this secret. Only fake or duplicate philosophers may not know.
