Does anyone else have a stutter?

Im almost 19 and Ive been stuttering since I was 8-10.

Its so hard to be totally normal, have so much to say, and physically not be able to say it..

Presentations, jobs, dating.. nothing is getting easier as I get older.

I do, but it's not as severe... but it can be awkward. I'm 18 and I've been stuttering since I was about 6 (I only say 6 b/c I remember a baby-sitter telling me to speak slower and calm down, it was really hard to get one word out at that age)

I also mix up words, switch word and letters around and make a whole new word. Or it'll be hard for me to get a certain word out so it comes out sounding jumbled and weird. Sometimes it happens when I talk to fast or I don't think it through (might be a sign of anxiety for me but it also happens randomly) Just remember to do that, speak slowly, clear your mind. Brush it off, be confident. Yes I do feel embarrassed when it happens but I usually don't linger too long. Worrying won't help much. You could try getting a speech therapist or find speech exercises online if you think that will help.

I do sometimes and quite often, too. No one points it out though which is nice but it's still irritating. You can't help it and I'm sure most people understand that.
