    Factorise each number into prime power factors

    Multiply together the highest powers of each prime that occurs in either factorisation.

    e.g. 75 = 3 * 5^2 30 = 2 * 3 * 5

    So the highest powers of 2, 3, and 5 are 1, 1, and 2 respectively;

    and no other primes occur (if you like, they occur to power zero.)

    So LCD (75. 30) = 2 * 3 * 5^2 = 150

    Euclid's algorithm is a method, not a formula.

    prime factorise all the numbers together.

    multiply the numbers you used for factorisation
