What stores will participate in the sales tax holiday?

    Some stores claim they will pay the sales tax for you but they are just reducing the price by the tax rate. Some states have a sales tax holiday for back to school so I would think it was statewide all stores in that state that sold the exempt items.

    Stores can not have their own sales tax holidays.

    Many states have them on certain products at specific times of the year

    For example, in Texas, from 8/5-8/7, there is no sales tax on clothing, footwear and school supplies that cost under $100.

    How about actually stating What country u live in as it varies greatly..

    Ask ur parents local adults for actual info locally
