What's the attitude that Catholics and Protestants held for each other during the Troubles?
I'm doing research for a project and as I don't live in Ireland or the UK, I haven't been able to find much on the general attitudes the two groups had for each other.
I've found plenty on the violence between the two groups, not only in Ireland but in the Orange Riots in New York, but not much on the general attitudes the two had: how they were portrayed by media, etc.

It was a LOT more complicated than that!
The southern Irish were mostly Celtic in background. The Northern ones were of two types: Celts, who were usually Roman Catholic, and Anglo Saxons, who were usually Protestant. So, the problems between them were happening even before either group was Christian.

Have for each other, it is not in the past. I doubt you have done much rsearch if you can't find anything. There are hundreds years of hisotry of animosity between Ireland and England. Do more research. Try a library.
