Could I get rabies from this cat scratch?

There's this stray cat that comes around and steals my cats cat food off our porch. It is always very nervous, runs away when I try to move towards it. But always looks back because it wants the food. Today, it was letting me pet it. It was coming over and seemed happy that I was. But still acting odd, I touched it's stomach and it's back legs and tail locked up. It moved in strange ways like that. Then, I accidentally was too rough, so it walked away. I reached out my hand, and it came back, swiped at my hand and cut two scratches in to my thumb.

I notice the strange movements, and how nervous it is, but there's no drooling or foam. I am really worried, will I get rabies? I know cats can lick their claws so saliva may have gotten in to the wound??

I don't think you will get rabies. Not all cats have rabies. The reason the cat scratched you was because you touched it stomach that's their sensitive spot it makes them feel angry scared and unsafe .

Honestly, if it penetrated the skin I would get it looked at, you never know. And once you start showing symptoms it's too late.
