why isn t it okay for white people to wear dreadlocks?
please, exuse my ignorance, but why can t white people wear dreadlocks or cornrows? surely people can do what they want with the hair on their head or is there a deeper meaning behind the hairstyles? thank you

dreadlocks aren't even a "black thing" braids are more of their thing, straight hair or "white hair" can naturally form dreads if not given enough care, so it's not really something only for black people. This is obviously a reason to be a victim. Not saying they aren't already because you know what has been going on.

People can do what they want with their hair. Some might say that a Caucasian wearing dreadlocks is an appropriation of black culture, but I disagree. I think it just depends on the intention of the person wearing the hairstyle.

Apperently it's 'racist' yet people who are not Caucasian are free to dye their hair blonde .. See the pattern of hypocrisy going on here ?
