"Something went wrong error." for Windows 10.?
I'm on a windows 8.1 laptop and I want to upgrade to windows 10 but every time i hit "Upgrade Now" it goes right to "Something went wrong. Please try again later."
My laptop is fully updated and I have windows update enabled. Any help is appreciated.

Delete everything in windows/softwaredistribution/download.
Open a command prompt as an administrator and type wuauclt.exe/updatenow and the download should start. Do a custom install and check every page. Backup ALL your personal stuff first

If you know your puter is compatible with win 10 (and it should be)....why not just download the w 10 iso file and burn it to a dvd. Then use that to upgrade or install. The dvd solves a lot of issues.
If you upgrade you should still have your drivers, but it you do a clean install....you'll need to get the drivers.
