Working while joining the navy?

Should i quit my job right away to speed up the recruiting process. I work 4 10 and then some on friday

    It will NOT speed up the process at all, it still takes months for it to all go through, maybe longer. Plus you have ZERO guarantee you will even be able to join. All you need to do is give 2 weeks notice out of respect.

    You need not quit until a week or two before you actually leave for the service. What you do while the MEPS paperwork is processing doesn't affect how fast MEPS processes anything.

    I wouldn't quit if I were you. Doing so won't necessarily speed up the process. You don't have to make yourself available 24/7 for this to happen. You just need to time for the initial paperwork and a trip or two to MEPS.

    U working has ZERO to do with when u get in.
