How long does it take to fry mince meat?

I just want to know how long to fry minced meat for it to become safely edible.

I don't want anyone telling me about Tomatoes, or cutting onions, or boiling, or different types of meats, or how to make it taste good, or seasoning. I looked this up online for a half hour and virtually everyone starts bringing in their own recipe about mixing mince with mashed potatoes or something.

I just want to know, how many minutes should I fry minced meat so i can eat it?

Thanks

It's hard to give an exact time. That will vary depending on how much there is, how much heat you use, and how big the pan is. I do it until there is no more pink in the meat and it has browned a little on the pan, when I am cooking the mince to add to a sauce. That may be 5 minutes or 10. Food safety guidelines say to cook minced beef until it has an internal temperature of 71C. If you're making a hamburger, you use a thermometer to test.

I am guessing that by mince you mean ground beef. Here is what I have found for the cooking of loose ground beef, not packed into patties:

Cook the beef on medium heat for 2 minutes. Check the beef and break apart any pieces. And repeat the process several times until the meat is cooked and there is no pink showing. Use a colander to drain any fat or oil from the ground beef.

Hope this helps you out some.

After the pan is heated add the beef to the pan. Now, using a wooden spoon or Silicone spatula, mash and stir and twist and turn the meat so that it gets broken up as it cooks. Keep stirring and mashing until all the pink has disappeared and all the meat has turned brown in color. This should take about 5 to 7 minutes.

Ground beef should reach a temperature of 160 degrees before consuming.

It depends on how much meat and how you cook it.

Lower temperature with the lid off will take longer.

Higher temperature with the lid on will take less time.

Less meat will take less time than more meat.

I would say it takes me about 7-10 minutes to brown 1-2 lbs of ground beef at medium to medium-high. I don't particularly like it crispy so I tend to spend a bit more time at lower temperature.

It takes about 10 minutes. Guesstimate.

I cooked up ground beef last night .. with all sorts of stuff in it. But I put in the ground beef about the time I added pasta to another pot (boiling water) .. and they both took about the same length of time to cook.

honey, it depends on how much meat you are talking about..1 pound will fry faster than 10 pounds will. How big your pan is, how hot the stove is set...

There is NO answer - depends on pan temperature, amount of meat, size of pan, etc. I cook it until there is no longer any pink and the juices have evaporated, the fat has rendered sufficiently, drain the fat and call it done.

    Until it's done.

There is no set time. The time it takes to cook will depend on the temperature of the cooking surface, and the surface area and mass of the food you're trying to cook.
