Why do liberals believe in Obama, Hillary, the media? Why do conservatives believe in Paul Ryan, Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin?

Can somebody tell me the last time when we had to pick the lesser of two evils?

    I don't believe in Vladmir Putin and I'm conservative, although he does like to kick Obama around like a soccer ball. I wonder how he'll get along with Trump.
