What were some wars in the 16th / 17th century sparked by the forcing of Christianity upon Indians by Europeans?

The Europeans did not force Christianity onto the natives, they tried to convert them. They were mostly unsuccessful in North America. The Spanish had much more success in Mexico by modifying their version of Catholicism to accommodate Aztec and other tribal beliefs. Once converted reverting would be considered heresy, and was punishable (often by death). Religion played a part in the conquest of Aztecs in Mexico and the Incas in Peru, but after that there was not much in the way of religious wars between the Europeans and Natives.

The French and Indian War was a political struggle for control of North America between the English and their colonies, and the French and their colonies in North America, and was NOT a religious war. Sorry to rain on your parade Joseph....
