Why did Obama endorse Hillary?

Because in 2008 when he was against Hillary, he said " She'll say anything to get into office". How much did she pay him?

He is putting his country before his personal feelings. President Obama knows that Hillary will expand upon and build on the many successes of his presidency. Hillary won't defund Planned Parenthood, and Hillary will block the republicans attempts to repeal Obamacare and undo all of the great progress we've made.

Both of them are the same, will say any lies to win. He endorsed her so he would continue his agenda and leave a positive legacy, but thats a fallacy because he has has done well only for the wealthy, same as Hillary will do. Trump wants to make officials responsive to the people. He is against political corruption.

They are both Democrats. Better question: Why didn't Bush endorse Trump? After all, they are both Republicans. All the high-power Republican figureheads shunned Trump at the convention -- Bush, Cheney, etc -- because they are embarrassed by him. Take a hint from them. This is not a good candidate for President.

There is a rumor that the Clinton Family is holding a heretofore unknown third Obama child hostage until Hillary becomes president.

Party politics. Same reason that Bernie endorsed her. The dems don't want Trump to get elected.

You need to understand how politics work. Yesterday's enemy is today's friend.

When he was running against her, she was his rival for the same political position.

Now he can't run anymore for president, but she can and she is from the same political party as he is.

And what was the other alternative. DT has to be defeated in November and the Democrates have to all be on the same side and support the one person who can win.

They are both democrats, he can't run for president again, and she is the party's choice for candidate.
