I actually haven't been out long enough to be bullied or harassed (plus my friends are supportive of the GSM). But I do know the common discriminations against asexuality are denying it's existance and saying asexuals are ****** up and/or mentally ill for not being sexually attracted to either gender.

    Source(s): I'm asexual.

I never really went to a traditional high school, so most of my bullying experiences happened in high school. I wasn't exactly open with my sexuality, but people seemed to call me gay all the time. I wasn't sure of my orientation until I was about 12/13, so I have no idea if there were actually stereotypical signs that they picked up on or something. Anyway, when I was in 7th grade, one of the 8th grades pulled down his pants slightly and rubbed his hard member on my backside and did a quick hard thrust. I was still fully clothed myself, so you could probably deem this as some sort of dry "humping", but I still felt his member. The weird thing was that he was able to get away with this in broad daylight and out in the open. There must have been at least 30 other boys waiting to go into the locker room and two physical education teachers, but somehow nobody seemed to notice (or, at least they didn't care). I never mentioned it to school officials, but I'm thinking maybe I should have. Physical education classes were always very hard for me to deal with. Other teasing included guys grabbing my chest and one dude that kicked my back repeatedly while I was on the floor. This time I was able to change gym periods to avoid these guys causing me trouble, but gym class was never easy for me. In hindsight, things could have always been worse, but I remember these experiences so vividly.

When I came out at the age of 13, almost everyone was completely supportive. But there was three classmates that would call me names. After a period of about three months, they cornered me in the bathroom and made very threatening remarks and gestures and it was obvious they wanted to fight. I explained to them that I did not choose to be gay and it is just the way I am. After talking for a few minutes, they completely changed their attitude and even apologized. I never had any further bullying from them after that and we even became friends.

When i was in school i was called many names like gay all the time.

Though the worse form was when recess came in 5th grade. i was once taken by the wrist and dragged around.

I got scratched up and a sprained wrist from that but there is something worse.

I was out and walked up to some kids to see what they were doing.

They grabbed me and one of them walked toward me saying "this will only take a moment"

I fought back but there were three of them!!

Just before the one got to me a teacher saw us and they stopped.

Thankfully I've never experienced any type of bullying about it.

Funnily enough the bullying stopped when I came out, so basically none. People say things but I don't care and it doesn't bother me.
