Does the Abominable Snowman really exist in the Mountains of the Himalayas ?

No one knows for certain , but according to a TV documentary broadcast earlier this year, some hair found in the area belongs to an unknown species of bear [DNA analysis]closely related to the Polar bear. These could account for sightings of the Yeti/Abominable Snowman.

Local's living in the hills and valleys of the Himalayan area swear that the Yeti exists but all the evidence examined from relics said to be Yeti's secreted in monasteries suggests that the relics consist of goat hair and bone.

The relics predate tourism by hundreds of years so we can only guess at the reason why the legend exists.

I think some guy made it up so he can create a civilization up there and enjoy solitude.
