How do you play black ops 1 on Xbox one console? I put the black ops 1 disk in put nothing happens?

    sometimes the console won't recognize the game until you force it to shut down and startup again....it's happened for me with several backwards compatible games.

    So basically once the game is in the console turn it off...WAIT FOR IT TO COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN....then pull the connector for the power cord out of the back, wait a second then plug it back in and power it on....if it works right it should automatically prompt you to install the update to play the game.

    Probably should try again, since it is a backwards compatible game & its just a matter of sticking in the disc & following the instructions. Worked for me when I had to.
