Another question asks "Why is 2016 the least extreme year on record in the US?", does anyone know what that means?

There are quite a few factors that causes this perspective.

1. Global Warming

2. Terrorism

3. Ebola & Zika and other related diseases

4. General Worldwide Safety issues

In Australia where I am 2016 has been elected as one of the worst years in history (T'was all of the news), simply because of these problems and other factors among that is well.

temperatures haven't hit 100 degrees on where i live which is East Coast not telling you state or town. but in 2010-2013 it has been over 100 degrees multiple times the hottest was 106 degrees but 2014 to now the hottest tempreture was 99 degrees but the hottest this year was only 97 degrees which is bad but no where near as bad as summer 2012

So far 2016 has been warm because of the after affects of the El Nino and there has been some flooding, possibly for the same reason. but I would not say it was extreme or least extreme.
