Why do so many male country top 40 singers look so gay?
So I can't help but notice the image that these guys have. Fake tans, hair is usually very feminine for a man, and its quite obvious they wear makeup. If you look at them they have that GAY look to them. Or Metrosexual I guess you could call it.

That used to be called "clean cut". It was part of the ideal male image in the 50s, and there are many people -- most notably the people who tend to prefer country music -- who believe that American culture reached its pinnacle in that decade.
