I am thinking of making a kix cake by replacing the flour with finely ground up kix (or another ceral) and reducing the sugar?

Update:

Has anyone done somethink like this? I can adjust the recipe for flavor, but would the ground up kix work for my flour base?

    No. Kix have a lot of other things in them besides flour. That's just not going to work.
