What do you think about the social justice worriers who claim they feel "oppressed"because Rihanna had a henna tattoo?

Mind you these are people of South Asian descent born in the United States. they are not actual Indians because I know people from India actually like to share their henna tattoos these are brats you were brought up here and a part of this safe space cry baby generation

They need to have a reality check and see how petty and ignorant they are. It's usually extreme hypocrites who claim crap like this. They love pretend they're so above it all, while they tear up everyone else for doing something that they deem wrong.

The funny thing is that almost all these ignorant people who claim cultural appropriation are cultural appropriators themselves, by their own standards. But they like to pretend they're not of course.

Ignore JJ by the way. Turns out I already have her blocked. I think it's from a question long ago similar to this one where she tried to tell me the same crap she is telling you. She's one of those people who thinks racism is about people who she presumes to be "in power" over people who are not like them. Also funny how she immediately draws a connection between cultural appropriation and racism and accuses you of being racist when you did not even mention anything implying racism.

And I completely agree with you. It is often times people who so desperately want to pretend as if they are actually from their ethnic origin when they're anything but. They are born and raised in Western countries, and may or may not do anything pertaining to their original culture, but they wish to stop anyone else from using elements from those cultures because "they're mine." The funny thing is that the ones who ACTUALLY belong to those cultures, I would say, most of the time would actually ENCOURAGE you to take part in their culture.

Question - What do you think

Answer - My indifference to what Rihanna does or does not do is immeasurable.

One may age prematurely due to worrying about such trivial nonsense.

    That sounds ridiculous.

I think that social justice warriors are people looking for problems where it doesn't exist. They do that by claiming that about EVERYTHING is "offensive" or "racist", when it's not at all racist or offensive in any way.

You're referring to cultural appropriation - your ignorance of racism doesn't magically make racism go away, and the fact you're using a minority of Indian people to support your apathy towards racism doesn't make it go away either.

Big difference between sharing cultural practices and appropriating cultural practices, maybe instead of being a cry baby about people speaking against racism you should take the time to learn about what you're so offended about. I mean really, gotta love racist status quo warriors getting their panties in a bunch about people objecting to racism.
