Do you find the global warming deniers that block others to be particularly stupid and dishonest?
I guess if they were honest and knew anything at all about science they wouldn't block.
Davie Bwoi, I'm not rude to people that tell the truth and give intelligent answers.
Some people claim that I call people "dishonest" because they disagree with me or with the ideas of global warming That is not the case: I call people dishonest when they have been caught telling blatant lies. As the saying goes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not to their own facts.
"Anonymous" down there is a good example. I don't block him, because I am confident enough that what I say is correct that I don't need to block others who might attempt to poke holes in it. Anonymous knows that what he says can't be defended, so he only allows his comrades to answer his questions.

Yes, I do think there is a correlation between tendency to block (and/or be anonymous) and being dishonest. As others have pointed out, the correlation might not be limited to just deniers. It might be observed by those who support AGW, and probably more broadly in other topics (e.g. the Politics category) as well, although I don't visit those topics enough to say for sure.

I certainly find that the global warming alarmists that block others are particularly stupid and dishonest.
I also find your question reminiscent of the whole way that global warming is handled. Just present one side of the story or ask a one-sided question.

No more or less so than the alarmists who block.
How often did you get on Hey Dook for his methods???
Edit:
" I'm not rude to people that tell the truth and give intelligent answers."
You mean your version of the truth and intelligent by your determination. Think that might be a biased application that may rightfully anger some people?

I can only really speak for myself, but I do quite enjoy discussing science with other people. I especially enjoy discussing science with the general public, and learn quite a lot doing so. However, I’m not a politician, or a public servant, or a salesperson, so I don’t have to put up with people who can’t bother even trying to be civil.

Well in your case it's because despite me never having said a word to you, you show up on my answers and are just rude and plain insulting. You seem to think that this forum gives you some kind of right to just degrade, insult and name call. You never add anything of any value, just the same old, same old cultist, blinkered, bullshite dogma. You couldn't win an argument with me if you tried, I can defeat you every level, scientific, political and economical. You're a bit of a standing joke here, although not a funny one. If it bothers you that much you could always try being less of a prat who only knows how to name call and maybe people wouldn't block you.
EDIT In real life your're the guy who gets sand kicked in face, so you try to retaliate for your shortcomings in virtual land, also your comment is a bit rich coming from a guy who wouldn't know truth if it hit him in the face

Interesting that you left out Dook, Elmer, Quest, and others. Like your science, you are being selective with your data.

translation: I'm not rude to people that agree with me and the global warming religion.

GW denial is on a par with religious fundamentalism; they operate outwith the realms of science so they need to resort to bully tactics or character stripping or censorship
