Working on saturday?

I used to work a rotating shift schedule that included every other weekend. For me, any night where I didn't have to go the work the next day was like a "weekend" to me. The concept of Saturday / Sunday off meant nothing.

I also worked overnight from 7p to 7a, which meant that after a 12 hour shift, I did a lot of day drinking, because it felt like night time to me. Ahh, those were good times... :-D

I work Saturdays and Sundays too. It's not a very good work/life balance. I hate it.

I never wok Saturdays - Mon-Fri is more than enough with a 50 mile commute each way

Did it for 5 years.

People go to parties and get drunk and act stupid and become totally unproductive at work.

Have you ever tried having a conversation with a drunk party slob?

Like you I do prefer work.

I don't mind it. At least I'm making money.

is it more important to you to party and the like or to make a living ??
