Should I paint my glasses with nail polish?
I have a pair of purple glasses and I don't like the color anymore so I want to paint it black with nail polish. Should I risk it? Will the nail polish come off easily? The glasses are pretty expensive so I don't want to ruin it.

No you're going to ruin them and it will be extremely obvious, splotchy, chipping.
Instead, why not buy a new pair or two of glasses? If you have your prescription, you can go online to find very affordable prescription glasses, far cheaper than at costco, walmart, target, lenscrafters, or any independent optics shops.
My favorite sites are Zenni, Coastal, Glasses USA, Goggles 4 u, Firmoo...
You can get glasses under 100, even well under 50 with the nice frames in different styles plus prescription lenses, case, wipers.
There are always sales and discount codes you can search on google to buy even more pairs for more discounts.
I'd recommend that instead of ruining the pair that you already have. I myself just got three very nice pairs of new glasses from zenni recently for under $70 when they had a sale. There is no reason to ruin a pair of glasses when you can get new ones for so cheap.

Pop the lens out . Spray paint it black so it has a full coverage then spray paint it with gloss so it can prevent from chipping and also will look shiny. If you can pop the Lens out . Just use painters to cover the lens.

they will just end up looking splotchy. don't risk it, even though it should come off with nail polish remover.
