I just want to know how to get a license and if a 100cc bike I want is a moped or motorcycle.

A moped is a 2 wheeled vehicle that can be propelled with a gasoline powered engine and/or pedals like a bicycle.

A scooter is a 2 wheeled vehicle with a step through frame.

A scooter is considered a motorcycle.

Regardless of engine size, you will need a motorcycle license to operate a scooter or motorcycle.

You get a motorcycle license the same way as a car license.

    Go to DMV

Fill out the form for a motorcycle license.

They give you a date to take the written test.

You then take the road test.

Some states will allow you to bypass the road test if you take a certified motorcycle riding course (usualy 2 days)

Check with the courses if they will by-pass the road test.

    If it's 100cc's, it's not a moped.
