Is a tiny house a good idea for someone who is going to have a somewhat low paying job?

I am going into my senior year of college and as many people do I have started to think about life after school. One of the big concerns, besides the fact that I have no idea where I will be working, is that I have no idea what I am going to do about where I will live. I am in school to be a youth pastor, leave your religious arguments out of this topic please, and in my denomination the average pay is $40,000 per year but that is the average or a 5-15 year pastor. Average entry pay is somewhere around $30-35,000 depending on the size of the church (and also assuming I will be a full time hire). To add on to this, at this point in my life I am single with no prospect of a serious relationship anytime soon so for a while I will more than likely be single income. I do plan on working a part time job to help supplement any potential income issues (I gotta eat) and I am think substitute teacher. So to the heart of the question, would a tiny house be a good idea for me? I think it would be due to my potential financial future and I accept that I will not have the room I am used to. I'm also a taller guy (6'4") but I have seen tiny houses that are nicer to taller people. So thanks for your time to answer and have a good day.

Pastors are sometimes provided free housing.

If not, an RV would be better than a tiny house.
