Apple iPhone 5s - Possible to connect multiple Bluetooth devices?

If I am in the car, listening to music on the car stereo via a Bluetooth connection to my phone, is it possible to have the music playing on the stereo, but calls routed to a Bluetooth headset?

I say no, my husband insists it's possible. Who is right?

No. Your device can connect to only one bluetooth output at any one point in time. Technically, the phone connects 2 devices, one for phone, one for music. The music disconnects to answer incoming phone call and the output goes through the car's speakers for hands-free connection.
