Can a boss legally delete the hours you work from his computer??

My 18 y/o Granddaughter quit her part time job because her boss wanted her to work more hours than she's supposed to. She is still in school. She found out that the manager deleted her work hours from his computer. Does she have any recourse???

Deleted in what way? As in trying not to pay her for hours worked? No, they can't do that. As in erasing all future hours? Yes.

she needs to write down her hours and hand that over, [[ keep hand written copy, hand in a photo ]] and tell them, that's my hours, when can I collect the check?.......don't forget, there is an undelete function as well on his computer.....if the jerk fails to pay, DO NOT make any threats, just file a suit in small claims court, make sure you keep all evidence in a pocket folder and bring it all to court

No he can't, but chances are the legal fees aren't even worth making a case out of it.
