Any of the old-school Boxing forum members still around ?

Hello Brawler. Long time no speak! I used to really enjoy coming on here to discuss and debate boxing but in 2013 I went travelling for three months, which then turned into me getting a new job and living in Australia for two years so the forum went on the back burner. Since coming back to England I have been on the forum for a wee look but the new format threw me and I was sad to see that so many of the great old time contributors, like the ones you mentioned, are gone. So it wouldn't be the same. Plus I see that there are still plenty of trolls about.

Just for old times sake I'll rank Willie Pep. Possibly the greatest featherweight of all time and lower end of the top 10 p4p. Pep Winning a round without throwing a punch was a myth but what is true is that he was unbeaten in his first 60 odd pro fights. In the tough old days where the best often fought weekly and without the luxury of cherry picking that was some achievement and gives a strong indication of how good he was.

I haven't been coming as often either. All of people left and the questions are attacking someone views on their race or religion. This is the boxing section but you rarely see questions talking about the sport. You have to literally weed through the good ones nowadays.

I don't come here so I don't know. Work, wife, kids and the new format killed it for me. Miss it... But life goes on. I am on a Facebook group Ultimate Boxing History often

Can't imagine what happened to Blogbaba or his second account Blogbaba2 since he was by far the most knowledgeable contributor after SantanaD's death

Not really bro, it's died down. I haven't been coming here as often either, it's pretty dead most days. It's too bad.
