Found it cable at work thinking it's a CAT5 and it isn't that's for sure. It has red,green,yellow, brown,black,orange and blue in the casing?

Update:

It's also has the markings: DPC PLUS NORDX/CDT (L) 4 PR 24AWG SOLID AUSTEL PERMIT A93/83H/?? 990615 on the casing, if it helps any.

    It's for multi-line telephones.

    It may be an older Cat3 cable. Cat3 was ok for 10Mbps, but that was about it. Cat3 usually had 8 solid colors...

    Otherwise, it is telephone cable.

    That is alarm cable. It is not twisted pair so it would be useless for IT use.
