teenage girl with hemorrhoids?

Hi, I'm 17 and I think I've been getting hemorrhoids. I don't experience any pain or itchiness, but there is blood when I have bowel movements sometimes, especially if the movements are hard/firm. One time there was so much blood on the toilet paper that I thought my period started. I don't really know what a normal anus is supposed to feel like, so I'm not sure if it's swollen or not? I do ride a stationary bike quite often and the seat is hard even though I put a pillow on it, could that be the problem?

If you do think it's hemorrhoids, any advice? I'm not going to stop riding the bike because it's my only effective way of a good exercise, so should I just use Preparation H every single day to keep them at bay?

Preparation H is "OK"...but not perfect for getting rid of hemmeroids. You are best off soaking in a hot sitz bath twice a day when you have them....not every day....and yes, stationary bikes don't help at all. I've had them off and on for 35 years, since the age of 10.

Wash with water after number 2, and when you shower try to open up a bit and wash also with just the water. And don't use preparation H, it is not good, it contains corticosteroids. Water will fix it, I know. Very sad for anyone who disliked this answer cause I am right.

First, you should slap yourself for being so dumb that you don't see a doctor when you have rectal bleeding. Then, see a doctor. Unless you're looking forward to dying of septic shock.
