Because people don't want to accept the issues that are going on in our country. They want to habe this attitude like "Nope I'm right, you are wrong". That's one of the problems with the U.S. People don't want to listen and understand one another nowadays. They just want to talk over people and voice their own opinions/ideas. You don't have to agree, but simply listening and ackowledging someone's point of view is not difficult.
