How is faith anything other then just gullibility?
@Razzle, agreed, people with faith in anything are extremely gullible, im so glad that we have great evidence for the big bang and evolution. so we can understand it.

It's not.
Faith IS gullibility.
Anyone who has to resort to "I accept this on faith" is telling you "I don't have any evidence to support my position."
Now, they will attempt to equivocate and say things like "Don't you have faith in your spouse"?
Sure, but,
1) my spouse exists, and I have evidence for that.
2) She has demonstrated being faithful in the past, and I have evidence for THAT....
although, I can never be 100% certain
Finally, if there were even the SLIGHTEST bit of evidence for a god, one would not NEED faith....
because, well, they would have evidence.

The only way primitive religion exists today is through the child abuse of forcing it into very, very young children but thanks to better education and growing intellects so many teens are able to discover the truth, throw off the indoctrination and step into the real world!
