Does anyone have any ideas for inducing labor naturally?

I am 39 weeks due 9/4/16. I wouldn't mind waiting for him to come out on his own but I have a flight scheduled to leave on 9/3 and no one will let me fly past 36 weeks. I am going to see my Husband graduate Army Basic Combat Training. I have tried nearly all things and nothing seems to be working. I need ideas. Anything helps. Thank you!

Do you truly understand child birth and a newborn? The fact you booked the ticket at all means you were not thinking about you or the baby. You cannot induce and then fly a days later. No plane will let you on. It is a high risk for YOU and for the CHILD of infection if you do it. You can need weeks to recover from birth. There are so many viruses that can be on that plane while you are on it. You need to look after yourself first and foremost and then the child and then your husband. If he was a true man he wouldn't have even let you consider coming.

That would be ill-advised, and silly boot camp graduation ceremonies, are not really Worth A) Traveling far to......and B.) Endangering the welfare of your unborn child, and C.) being away from your doctor this close to the Birth.......both before AND after, in case there are any complications.

When my son was born......there were issues 5 days in, and we had to bring him back.

(and ask for an Exchange or a refund!)

No, kidding.........but he was lactose intolerant, and that caused some major issues very quickly....and he had to be re-admitted and cared for , for a few more days.........heat lamp and all that.......so the wisest course of action here is to forgo the rather boring ceremony..........(and I say that as a vet that went thru it.......honestly, you're not missing anything) ........and stay home, close to your regular, normal health care givers.

Good Luck with the baby......and if he or she is throwing up a lot.....check that lactose intolerant thing.
