I very much believe the Cubs can win it all. They have the best home record in baseball, crushed their own division, and have done well in interleague play. everyone in the line up can hit when it matters, Joe Maddon has a lot of options to switch guys around defensively, and our starting pitching is one of the best in baseball.

sure, our bullpen is a little beat up right now, but Chapman has been as promised with only one blown save this year with the Cubs. Wood has bee solid all year, and even has played some left field. once we get Hector Rondon and Pedro Strop back as the 8th and 7th inning guys respectively, we could dominate the post season.

Kris Bryant should be NL MVP, and we have a couple of NL Cy Young candidates in Kyle Hendricks, and reigning Jake Arrieta. Even Anthony Rizzo / Addison Russell may get some MVP votes.

Our defense is solid, with Russell and Baez up the middle, along with Zobrist, Bryant and Rizzo rounding out. and Heyward should get another gold glove in right field. Fowler has been just like last year. and Soler has improved since coming off the DL in LF.

Unless the Cubs sustain another major injury, I think they can win it all.

The Cubs are 13-4 thus far in inter league play, with the Astros remaining next month

16-13 against the NL West. and 19-14 against the East.

    1. No free TV games unless you have 6 antennae 2. The Cubs will find a way to lose, even if they DO get to the World Series 3. Fewer viewers will watch than ever before, which has been the trend for quite a few years now

Cubs all the way! Until they choke in the 8th inning of the deciding NLCS game, that is.

    ...lol?
