Cleaning a floor drain?

Our floor drain the the basement has a mild, unpleasant odor. We had it checked and nothing is wrong. I am wondering what would be the best thing to clean it with? I have seen enzymes. There are also a variety of other types of drain cleaners. I have tried baking soda with vinigar and bleach

More than likely, what you're smelling is sewer gas...which means the floor drain may only be "dry." Get some inexpensive disinfectant, mix as directed and pour that solution down the floor drain...a mixed gallon should be enough. I bet that solves your problem.
