Habits that most people seem to have that irritate you?
Here are a few that I view on a daily basis. I rarely say anything to the person because I am sure that I have some habits that I do without even realizing it:
People that say "bucks" instead of dollars. This more stems from me having a degree in English, so I do not understand why someone would prefer a slang term when the real term is only 1 syllable longer.
People that do not push in chairs back to underneath the table. Someone who is not bright eyed and bushy tailed could accidentally walk into the unpushed chair and cause a mild accident.
People that say "I am sorry" all of the time in order to stop talking about something. When I was an exchange student in Korea, this happened on a daily basis where I asked someone a question, and they respond back with the "Me so sorry...Me so sorry..." bit.

when people park their cart in the middle of an aisle or hold a conversation in the aisle with their backs turned so they don't think about who is coming, also when people leave garbage in their shopping cart, when people are at the checkout and forget an item and then you have to wait for them to go get it from across the store. (can you tell there's a lot of shopping issues? LOL)
people that text and drive or fool around on their phone at intersections. even if they're briefly stopped.. they still miss when the light turns green and I watch them text away for the first block after the red light
people who state the obvious.. like you're driving past some seedy place (the same place you drive by every week) and they have to point it out like it's something new
people who say "I was just joking" after insulting you and it obviously has truth behind it

The car driven by a self proclaimed privileged person who takes up two parking spaces so no one can ding the car with opening doors. If they want to take up two spaces, they should go to the outer edge of the parking lot where there are plenty of spaces, not hog two prime spaces right in front of the store.
When I am cooking dinner, I give the ten minute and then the five minute "warning" when dinner will be ready. Then when it is time to sit down, they have to use the bathroom or go get the mail or something ridiculous.
My sister lives in NYC and relies on public transportation, so she does not have a car at this time. She is visiting with me and of course, I do the driving (willingly and happy to do so). Well, she has a habit of opening the car door before I have the opportunity to stop the vehicle. That drives me absolutely crazy. She also has a habit of getting out of the car and leaving the car door open if she needs to run in and get something she forgets or decides to get the mail or get something out of the trunk. I hate my car door to be left open because if I suddenly have to move the vehicle, I do not want to drive with the car door open. You know, safety reasons.
Another thing my sister does that drives me crazy...she does not tighten the tops/lids/containers of condiments and foods in the fridge and pantry. I am forever picking things up that end up on the floor because they are not securely closed.
Other than these things, I am a pretty tolerant and understanding person with a great deal of patience, so I am told.

I wouldn't say "most" people have/do all of these but here's a few that are pet peeves of mine:
1) Running a shopping cart into my heels;
2) Those spit strings when talking;
3) Soup slurping;
4) Referring to a "mute" point instead of "moot" point;
5) Using the non-word "Ima";
6) Spitting loogies on the sidewalk;
7) Taking five minutes to say something that required about ten words;
8) People who can't leave their cell phone alone when appropriate;
9) Expecting instant gratification simply because they called or texted;
10) Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

1) People who stop in the middle of a crowded walkway or doorway. PULL OVER!!!
2) Groups of people who stretch out across a sidewalk.
3) Slow walkers (with the exception of the elderly, pregnant, disabled, and injured).
4) Guys who wear their hats backwards. Stop acting like you're the ****, because you're not.
5) People who talk loudly on their phone in public. Don't air your dirty laundry.
6) Shopping habits (I could go all day with this)- waiting until items are rung up to take out payment/coupons, blocking the aisle with shopping carts, unattended carts, carts left in the parking lot and not in the corral, children throwing temper tantrums and parents caving to them.
7) People who put a bag on a seat on public transportation. Your bag does NOT get a seat. Hold it on your lap, between your feet, or under the seat.

There are some things people do that I don't like. Some people pee on the toilet seat, don't flush the toilet, talk on their phones in the library, cut in line, drive too fast, etc.
