Just because something has a probability to happen does it mean it will happen?

For example could I flip a coin and have it land on tails for infinity. I think you could, but prove me wrong if I am wrong.

Update:

Another perspective. There is a probability that everyone in the world will cough at the same time. However in my view we could go an infinite time without this happening. Again please explain if I am using faulty logic.

No, that couldn't happen. It's law of averages. Unless it's a weighted coin it will never just land on tails because the law of averages says that the landing on heads or tails will more or less be balanced equally.

The odds always wins out. Casinos count on it. That's why they make money . They know the odds.
