Do teachers just show videos so they can catch up on work?

I'm not sure but when I was in school I had a teacher that gave a quiz every time he showed a video. It was a 10 question true false quiz. There were 10 statements that we were allowed to make a guess on before the video started. We put the answer in column A. While we watched the video we put our final answer in column B. It made us pay attention and it helped me learn. What was nice about it was the true/false statements went in order with first one at the beginning of the video and the last at the end. So to answer your question the teacher could catch up on work but at the same time this teacher I had was at least making the video important with the quiz he gave.

Yes, lazy teachers do. Real teachers teach.
