Will a Sephora sample of foundation cover my whole face?
I heard from a makeup artist that I need to try it on for a full day to know if the color is right for me. The reason why she said that was because I have oily/combination type of skin which means the foundation will darken after it 'marinates'. Does Sephora give enough product in their samples that can cover my whole face and neck?

It depends on the person who gives you the sample, and the product itself.
Tell them exactly what you told us, and they should give you enough for an entire application. The point of the samples at Sephora is for you to get to know the product enough to want to buy it, so if they don't go back the next day and ask for another sample so you have enough.
