    they came out with it to keep up with competition. one new phone every year and people actually buy into it and idk why. if you have a perfectly fine working phone then there is no need to upgrade and waste money you know what im saying. its a phone. if you want a power house then i'd recommend a computer since it does a lot more and its cheaper
