Electtical connection for stable?
I intend wiring a stable/store, I am an electrician, so know what I am doing. I do not have part p qualifications, but the stable is exempt from this requirement. My question is will the electricity supplier require a wiring certificate to meter it.?

It would be best to check with your suppliers as to what their requirements are.
I am a retired electrician and in my experience I have never been asked by the suppliers for a wiring certificate for this type or any commercial or non domestic work. Once I have arranged with them for a supply and paid their fee, they have just tested for insulation resistance, polarity and earthing arrangements and if satisfactory installed their equipment and connected up without problems. However if the supply is to be derived from domestic premises they may require certificates of installation / inspection / testing, as per Part P / building control requirements
Hope this helps.

And how long is footage kept?
ASKING on Yahoo Answers is a CONFESSION that you DON'T know what you are doing.
An ACTUAL electrician would know that suppliers don't require a wiring certificate for ANYTHING.
