A gradient function is given by dy/dx= 10e^(2x) -5 . When x = 0, y = 8. Find the value of y when x = 1. Help?

I keep getting 34.9, which is apparently incorrect.

    dy = 10 * e^(2x) * dx - 5 * dx

    y = (10/2) * e^(2x) - 5x + C

    y = 5 * e^(2x) - 5x + C

    y = 8 when x = 0

    8 = 5 * e^(0) - 5 * 0 + C

    8 = 5 * 1 - 0 + C

    8 = 5 + C

    3 = C

    y = 5 * e^(2x) - 5x + 3

    y = 5 * e^(2 * 1) - 5 * 1 + 3

    y = 5 * e^(2) - 5 + 3

    y = 5 * e^(2) - 2

    I'm getting the same thing.

    y = 5e^(2x)-5x+3

    y(1) = ...calculator
