Is Pope Alexander Sixtus "Rodrigo Borgia" responsible for the corruption of the Catholic Church that continues until today.?

Was wondering if Pope Sixtus was the one responsible for the corruption of the Catholic Church or was their Popes before and after him that are responsible for it?

Corruption has been going on since her inception friend, satan infiltrated long long ago.....Note the testimony of a Catholic functionary:

[T]he vicar of the incarnate Son of God, anointed high priest and supreme temporal ruler, (the Pope) sat in his tribunal impartially to judge between nation and nation, between people and prince, between sovereign and subject.i

    Luther wrote this:

It is a horrible thing to behold the man who styles himself Christ's vice-gerent displaying a magnificence that no emperor can equal…He is (say they) the lord of the world! But Christ...has said, "My kingdom is not of this world." Can the dominions of a vicar extend beyond those of his superior?

No. The Church survived Bishops of Rome who were lackies to Emperors and corrupt and sinful Popes. The promises of Jesus to be with us Christians always should assure you.

Popes, as you notice from current events, are not the dictators of dogma that you may know from your mythology of Catholicism.

The church was corrupt WAY before his time.
