Philips 19 inch HDTV Overfills Screen?

Is there a way to manually reset the TV so I can change the resolution or maybe an app? The picture doesn't quite fit the TV and it's cutting of sections that I need to see. I lost the remote (otherwise I wouldn't be here) and I'd appreciate some help trying to fix this problem

    Get a replacement remote.

    usually on tvs there are menu, input, ch up/down and vol up/down buttons ...

    use menu, chs as UP/DOWN and vols as RIGHT/LEFT ... go to PICTURE SETTINGS / CHANGE FORMAT menu
