Pancreatic mass.....?

Update:

While have a CAT performed for lung cancer it was discovered that there was a mass on my pancreas. I had been scheduled for a laparoscopy but couldn't drive myself because they sedate you, nor could I find a ride. Just wondering how many people out there have had a pancreatic mass which turned out to be benign? Since I don't have anyone reliable to take me, I don't want to reschedule it for fear of not making it to the appointment and thus tying up the time of the medical staff.

It is something that should not be there and needs to be investigated as soon as possible and if a person is a drinker with a pancreatic mass then it is usually cancer, Good Luck

Check with your insurance then. Many will cover medical transportation to and from procedures like that.

No one I know I'm afraid. It could be a secondary.
