    Slope intercept form is

    y = mx + b

    Where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

    Slope of points

    m = rise/run

    m = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

    m = (7 - 1) / ( -4 - 5)

    m = 6/-9

    m = -2/3

    Therefor either B or C

    Looking at the given points

    both y values are positive

    while one x value is negative and one is positive

    Therefor the y-intercept of a line through the points must be positive.

    Which leaves only

    B. y = -2/3x + 13/3 <–––––
